Local Transport Projects are our ‘go to’ team for all matters relating to transport. They have supported us on projects ranging from 5 to 2,500 homes from pre-planning advice to acting as an expert transport witness on our behalf at planning appeals. Local Transport Projects (LTP) were appointed by Derbyshire County Council (DCC) to complete the design of Chesterfield East-West Cycling and Walking Route. Their knowledge of highway design was crucial in delivering the designs to the relevant specifications and deadlines. The team were always available to resolve issues and went over and above in assisting with the progress of the scheme through difficult consultation exercises. Flintshire County Council (FCC) appointed LTP to undertake route appraisal and design work in relation to the development of new strategic cycle links across Flintshire. LTP’s work has been to a high standard, delivered on time and to budget. A number of schemes have now been delivered on the ground and we’ve retained LTP’s services to help deliver additional active travel routes.

LTP assisted us with the significant development of Hornsea Caravan Park. They provided highways and transport planning advice and produced a Transport Assessment to consider the potential impacts of the expanded site. Their work was integral to a successful planning approval and LTP worked with ERYC Highways Officers to ensure that no highways objections were received.

LTP also undertook detailed highway design work for a new access into the site and worked with ERYC to obtain technical approval. The team at LTP were extremely professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of their services and I would have no hesitation in recommending LTP for similar projects.
