LTP was commissioned by North Lincolnshire Council to develop a masterplan for traffic management and highway improvements in Brigg. The work supports the delivery of five housing allocation sites identified in the Local Plan, with the potential to deliver around 824 new homes as part of the area’s wider economic growth strategy.
LTP reviewed the existing highway network and identified key constraints and opportunities. A range of potential solutions was developed and assessed, supported by traffic modelling and impact analysis. This work informed the preparation of a comprehensive implementation masterplan, including junction design and infrastructure improvements required to facilitate development.
The completed masterplan provides a clear and robust framework for delivering access to the proposed development sites. It gives both the local authority and potential developers a defined understanding of the scale and type of highway interventions required, supporting future planning applications and coordinated infrastructure delivery.
