Brigg Link Road Masterplan

LTP were commissioned by NLC to develop a Masterplan to help facilitate the development and delivery of traffic management works and highway improvements in Brigg to support development of five housing allocation land packages in the north of the town identified in the NLC Local Plan.  The land packages have the potential to deliver some 824 new homes within NLC and are considered a key component of the economic strategy for the Local Authority area. 

Key activities on the project included: 

• Review of existing network, issues and opportunities
• Option generation and assessment
• Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA)
• Traffic Modelling
• Implementation Masterplan
• Junction Design

The completed Masterplan provides a robust assessment of the key issues related to providing access to the housing allocation land packages in Brigg and a clear indication to potential developers of the scope/scale of acceptable highway and traffic solutions required to support successful Planning Applications.
