What type of strategies can LTP help with?
LTP support local authorities and organisations in developing transport strategies that set clear, long-term frameworks for movement, accessibility and growth. This includes Local Transport Plans, town-wide or corridor studies, and thematic strategies covering areas such as active travel, road safety, public transport, freight and parking.
LTP’s approach is evidence-led and proportionate, balancing policy objectives with deliverability. This approach helps to shape strategies that can be implemented in practice, including those that support funding bids and public consultation.
